 Purl is known to millions for her running roles on multiple, iconic television series. Besides being Richie Cunningham’s girlfriend, Fonzie’s fiancée on Happy Days, Matlock’s daughter Charlene Matlock, Pam’s Mom/Steve Carell’s girlfriend on The Office, she has starred in over 45 made-for-TV movies. Current recurring, After Forever, Bold and Beautiful. Theatre credits (partial listing) Broadway: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Getting and Spending. Off-Broadway, Mr. Toole, The Baby Dance. Westend, The Year of Magical Thinking. UK Bill Kenwright tour of Catch Me If You Can. Regional at such theatres as: Long Wharf, Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Old Globe, Mark Taper Forum, South Coast Repertory, North Coast Repertory, Santa Fe Opera, Cleveland Playhouse, Laguna Playhouse, The Lensic Santa Fe, Berkeley Rep, Williamstown Theatre Festival (six seasons); Theatre Princesse Grace, Monaco; Imperial Theatre, Tokyo, Japan; Westend’s The Other Palace. Partial film: Paul’s Promise, Mighty Joe Young, Leo and Loree; Sundays. Upcoming: LA Grit. Described by the London Times, “Purl cuts loose with all the authority of a seasoned jazz vocalist…she is mesmerizing” and by the Los Angeles Times as “A true American sweetheart…riveting…a gifted song stylist”. Past concert venues include 54 Below, Dizzy’s and Rose Hall at Lincoln Center Jazz, Birdland, Catalina Jazz Club, Thousand Oaks Performing Arts Center, Naples Philharmonic, Feinstein’s at Carmichael, Crooners, the Pheasantry and Crazy Coqs in London, Club Raye in Paris and Satin Doll in Tokyo. She has performed with the Glenn Miller, Diva Jazz and Orlando Jazz Orchestras and Colorado Springs Symphony. Solo albums are Alone Together, Out of this World—Live, Midnight Caravan, Up Jumped Spring, Taking a Chance on Love and most recently This Could Be the Start. “An act that literally takes your breath away…an impressive range, perfect intonation, awesome phrasing. Sunday, July 14, 2024 7:00 pm -  Triphammer Big Band led by Paul Merrill  and Mike Titlebaum with vocalists Catherine Gale and Steve Stull. Eighteen jazz players from around the region gather for a swinging concert!

Choreographers’ Showcase
Featuring work of Jeanne Goddard, Donna Davenport, Amy Bush, Michelle Ikle’, Tina Price, the Pranadanas, and more. With musicians John White, David Coester, Owen Cummings, Steven Stull

These programs are made possible in part with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants program from the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of the office of the Governor and NYS Legislature, and from Tompkins County; administered by the Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County, grants from the Tompkins County Tourism Program, NYSCA-A.R.T./New York Creative Opportunity Fund (A Statewide Theatre Regrant Program), and by generous individual donors.

Tickets will be available at the gate – there will be no advance sales. A vaccinated attendant will collect your suggested donation, payable by cash or check to Triphammer Arts. If you'd prefer to donate electronically, you can donate through PayPal or on Facebook at any time. The gates open one hour before each performance. Prices subject to change.
